Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

WRITING TITLE, NAME AND ADDRESS OF AUTHOR

Guidelines for Writing Articles in the Student Scientific Journal (JIM) of the Faculty of Tarbiuah and Teacher Training UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh; on the first page template, divide it into two parts: on the first page, write the top title. Meanwhile, the author's name (without an academic degree), and the address of the author's contributions, must be written. Then in the second part, write the abstract in Indonesian and English. Keywords must be arranged alphabetically between three and five words. Contributing authors should be listed first, followed by the second, third, and so on. Communications regarding article revisions and final decisions are informed via active email.

GENERAL PROVISIONS OF MANUAL

The general provisions are the following text

  1. The manuscript is the result of authentic research that has never been published.
  2. The manuscript does not contain elements of plagiarism. The Editorial Board will directly reject manuscripts that indicate plagiarism.
  3. Manuscripts that have been written according to the format requirements of the JIM Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Journal (with Ms. Word, using a template) must be submitted online using the Open Journal System (OJS) on the JIM Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Journal portal
  4. Templates and provisions for writing articles use Ms.Word format which can be downloaded.
  5. The online submission manuscript can be seen in the Online submission provisions section below
  6. Manuscripts that do not comply with the writing requirements of the JIM Journal of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training will be returned to the author prior to the review process.
  7. Manuscripts must contain several aspects of scientific articles, namely: (a) article title, (b) author's name (without title), (c) author's physical address, (d) author's email, (e) abstract and keywords, (f) ) introduction, (g) research methods, (h) results and discussion, (i) conclusions, (j) Bibliography.
  8. The manuscript consists of eight to twelve pages. page numbers according to the template
  9. The submitted manuscript must be camera ready.
  10. The text in the article uses the Book Antiqua font type, 12 pt,
  11. Words which are foreign languages ​​are written in italics.
  12. Each image is numbered followed by the image title below the image.
  13. Each table is numbered followed by the title of the table above the table.
  14. Every figure, table and graph is placed in the center.

PROVISIONS FOR MANUAL CONTENT  

Title of Manuscript: The title should be informative and clearly written. The title describes the research that has been done and should not give rise to different interpretations. The first letter is capitalized and symmetrical. The title of the article cannot contain uncommon abbreviations. The article title is written in a maximum of three lines or fifteen words, Book Antiqua 12 pt, and in the middle. While the abstract contains 100-200 words, the font used is Times Book Antiqua 10 pt and is followed by three to five keywords.

Introduction: The introduction includes the background (problem), research objectives, literature review (last 5 years) by showing differences with previous research.

Research methods: The research method describes the stages or steps in implementing the solutions carried out to overcome research problems. The research method also describes how a research is done. The stages of research and research methods need to be explained in detail so that it makes it easier for readers to understand the flow of research. In this section the author can include the mathematical equations used in the research.

Results and Discussion: Results and Discussion explain some of the results of the research conducted. It should be noted that this section only displays important results from research, so not all research results need to be displayed in this section. Discussion also needs to be done in detail on the results that are considered interesting so as to support the research contribution. Good discussion also needs to compare the results obtained with the results of other studies.

Conclusion: The conclusion section must be able to answer the research objectives. Describe the important results obtained that are related to the purpose of the study. In addition, this section also explains the limitations of the research conducted and the ideas for future research. This section is written in paragraph form and is not allowed to be written in bullet points.

Bibliography: The bibliography is arranged alphabetically and typed in one space. Use primary references, such as journals, proceedings or books, to enrich the bibliography section. Make sure that every bibliography written in the bibliography must be cited in the article. The bibliography writing format uses the 6th edition APA style. It is recommended to use the reference management facilities provided by the EndNote, Mendeley or Microsoft Word applications.
