Fathana: Jurnal Psikologi Ar-Raniry follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Core Practices and is committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity in research and publication.

Responsibilities of Authors

  • Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must ensure their work is original, properly cited, and not published elsewhere. Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable.

  • Research Ethics: Studies involving human participants must comply with institutional and international ethical standards, including informed consent and confidentiality. Ethical approval from an institutional review board (IRB) must be clearly stated.

  • Data Integrity: Data must be presented honestly and without fabrication or manipulation.

  • Authorship and Acknowledgment: Only those who made significant contributions should be listed as authors; others should be properly acknowledged.

  • Fair Evaluation: Manuscripts are assessed based on academic merit without bias.

  • Confidentiality: Editors must not disclose information about submissions to anyone outside the review process.

  • Confidentiality: All reviewed manuscripts must be treated as confidential.

  • Objectivity: Reviews must be objective and constructive.

  • Acknowledgment of Sources: Reviewers should identify relevant works not cited and report any ethical concerns.

Responsibilities of the Publisher

The publisher ensures that publication practices are consistent with COPE standards, supports ethical oversight, and takes necessary action in cases of misconduct, including issuing corrections or retractions when required.

Ethical Oversight and Complaints
